Yoga Styles to Consider
Beginner/Gentle – Beginner’s sessions are ideal for ensuring proper alignment and exploring the basic building blocks of any style of yoga. These sessions, however, are equally appropriate for experienced students seeking to deepen their practice because in yoga philosophy “we are all beginners,” when we practice yoga with an open mind. All sessions are conducted with a balance of strength and flexibility, done mindfully and with precise and easy to follow cuing.
Vinyasa Flow – Ideal for those who enjoy a more active, fluid, heat building style of yoga while remaining focused on mindfully connecting breath to movement.
Calming Restorative – Restorative yoga uses various props which support the body in its ability to slowly return to its natural state of health and vitality. These sessions may also incorporate Yoga Nidra which is a sleep based meditation technique.
Adaptive/Chair – Chair yoga can be curated to the needs of the practitioner so it appeals to not only those seeking an alternative to mat yoga but also to students recovering from injuries or with long standing illness or trauma.
